About us

FirmGirl Initiative is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established on October 5, 2021, and officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on March 13, 2024. Founded on passion, enlightenment, and a drive to educate, FirmGirl focuses on adolescent females and teenage mothers who are navigating the challenges of discovering their purpose and potential

What we do

FirmGirl Initiative is dedicated to empowering teenage mothers and adolescent females by breaking down barriers to education and personal growth. We address challenges such as self-limitations, cultural norms, poverty, inequality, societal criticism, and stigmatization. Our goal is to foster creativity, acceptance, and re-orientation, infusing confidence and self-esteem among young mothers, and promoting a message of hope and support.

Vision Statement

We envision a world where every girl child has access to education, where teenage mothers are celebrated for their courage, and where young women stand tall with knowledge, skills, and unshakeable confidence. We aim to create a future where these incredible young women can thrive, make wise choices, and live life on their own terms.

FirmGirl Initiative is committed to building a brighter future for adolescent females and teenage mothers, ensuring they have the second chance they deserve to chase their dreams and achieve their full potential. Through our dedicated efforts, partnerships, and unwavering commitment, we strive to empower these young women to live confidently and realize their aspirations.
